'Twas the Night Before Christmas & IBS Super Sale

Before I get to my card, you should know that Inspired By Stamping is having a Super Sale Birthday Bash this Thursday and Friday only!  With the coupon code BIRTHDAY you will receive 50% off your order.  It's the perfect time to shop for yourself or for a stamping friend.  ;)

There's $5 international shipping and free shipping on orders over $75, too!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now, onto my card.  I was anxious to use this sweet old-timey Christmas stamp, a gift from my friend Brenda aka Benzi.  She is such a dear blogging pal, and I feel like I know her quite well, even though we've never met in person.  Benzi loves houndstooth patterns, so I paired the stamp with some paper from Me & My Big Ideas.

I seem to have a 'thing' for my Persian Motifs dies from Spellbinders lately, and the largest one makes an appearance here.  The green punched flower was cut in two, and reassembled around the Christmas stamp.

One more quick thing to share about Inspired By Stamping before I go:

  1. Red is the go-to color for Christmas and you can create magic with it did you know that? ( I guess so heehee...)
I love that Persian motif die; it's a subtle and elegant touch on this Christmas card; and you can never go wrong with houndstooth. My opinion; a perfect mix and match of lovely and elegant elements. Love it!

  2. Whoa! I knew this was stunning when I saw it in my blog list and before I opened it. At that time, I didn't know you had used my stamp but I spotted the houndstooth. You made such a beautiful card with it. Oh, that red and white houndstooth is g-a-w-g-e-o-us! You knew I would think so, didn't you? Just out outstanding creation, my friend. Wow!

BTW, the red/ white or black/white houndstooth has a lot to do with my favorite football team...Go Bama!!! We won't talk about their first loss of the season last week. Boo Hoo as they were headed for another National Championship.
