Just sharing a couple of simple congratulations cards that were delivered to Arts Plus Gallery in December or January (ah, my memory isn't what it used to be).
The only difference between these two creations is the flower that tops each one. On the first card, I used a white Prima paper flower that I transformed with a coffee bath, and then some ink sponged on. The leaves were punched with Rose Leaf (Martha Stewart), and those sweet little taupe flowers in the center were a gift from my friend, Sindhu. :-) They traveled all the way from Thailand to me, here in the USA! That was an exciting package to receive. Thank you SO much, Sindhu!
This Prima flower was not given a coffee bath. :-) My 15 year old critic tells me this card is her fave between the two.
Which version do you prefer?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful..both of them :) !
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! LOVING those little flowers on the bigger flower!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I like the one with the coffee bath best...since you asked. I think one reason is it seems to fill the space better, being larger. And, I just like the color. :-)But, they're both beautiful. Such sweet flowers from Sindhu.
ReplyDeleteThese will sell quickly, so pretty!! I like them both, but the second with the white bloom is my fave!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them both, Colleen!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers with the rose trio centers! Actually, I love them both, so wouldn't be able to choose. Sometimes I feel like coffee stain and sometimes not. They both look good with the muted colors. Elegant!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that huge sentiment! Those blooms look awesome with clusters of those tiny flowers as the centers. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty!!!! Love the flowers in the flowers and the pretty colors. Hugz!
ReplyDeleteLove them both! Pretty with the stacked flowers!
