Happy, Preppy Banners

I'm flying some flags on today's card.  Happy, preppy patterns and colors, flying on a background of white.

(It's just so tough to photograph a white card on a white background!)

When I photo-edited these pictures, they looked fairly bright to me.  Now that they are in Blogger, they seem duller.  Darn!

If you do an internet search on 'preppy patterns', so many fun designs turn up.  I saw plenty of polka dots, and a lattice pattern, and bright, punchy colors.  That's where I got my inspiration for this card.

Thanks so much for coming by today!

  1. Love this card with the bright colors on crisp white with the big sentiment. Nice font on the sentiment. The photo thing happens to me all the time. They look one way in PhotoShop, another way on the blog. They'll also appear different depending upon the time of day I view them. I spend way too much time trying to get them right! I do think your photos today look good, though.

  7. WOW, what a fun and bright card! Stunning design and selection of colors! When I read your post I could soo understand what you were going through after editing your card photos...It is the blogger that makes them darker and dull...but no worries, your card is still gorgeous regardless!!!

  8. I love your preppy banners in different patterns and colors. My cards always seem whiter/brighter on SCS than my blog. I don't know what makes the difference.

  11. IMO, your photos look great! Sometimes I try to brighten mine to the point that they look harsh and washed out. I love your banners, they look so clean and fresh, like spring!
