French Flair

Hello friends!  I have a little bit of time before my company arrives this afternoon, so this will be a short post.
Isn't it so....French-looking?

A lacy border for the card, made with the Modern Garland punch.

This fleur-de-lis brad started life in a very shiny silver way.  I rubbed black acrylic paint on it, then wiped off the excess after it dried a couple of moments.

The challenges I am entering:
Thanks for popping by!

Colleen

  13. So very French, indeed, Colleen! I really love how this looks, and that modern garland border punch adds so much interest--to an already very interesting design! I wish I had a good script background stamp. You are always using yours in such effective ways. And how clever were you to shabby up that fleur-de-lis brad so nicely???
