Golden Snowflake Peace

I believe it's the first time I've inked up snowflakes from Verve's Glad Tidings set.  (ahem, it takes me a while to get around to showing all my stamps some love)  They are SO pretty! I'm a sucker for beautiful snowflakes.  :-)

These deserve some gilding with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment is Verve Bright Spirits.  Papers are a combo of Basic Grey Wassail (the main panel), deep red from Stampin' Up!, and green flourishes from Anna Griffin.

No particular sketch used here....just let all the elements flow together.

Have a beautiful day!

Stamps: Bright Spirits, Glad Tidings - Verve Paper: Sahara Sand, Mellow Moss, red pattern - SU; green flourish - Anna Griffin; white - PTI; floral - Wassail - Basic Grey Ink: Versafine Onyx Black - Tsukineko; Antique Linen - Ranger Fibers: twine - Creative Impressions Accessories & Tools: snowflake die - Verve; circle die - Spellbinders; pearls

  9. Oh yes, I think I love love those snowflakes too! I love Verve stamps, but I regret not owning any. Like you, I have so many stamps that I have not had a chance to get inky with!

Your papers are gorgeous! They actually remind me of a Hawaiian print I saw a lot used in various furnishings when I lived there. Beautiful!

  10. These are beautiful snowflakes. The look so "you". I love how you cut them out and positioned them just so with the sentiment. Gorgeous papers, too. Everything does just flow. I'm terrible about getting around to my new stamps. Everything in its time, I guess.
