Hello everyone! It's Friday, January 3rd as I write this post, and we've had our first Snow Day of 2014. About 6 inches fell where I live, and the kids got to stay home from school. It was a great week, with only one day of school/work, and now a three day weekend is upon us. Hooray!
I've spent a lot of time in my attic studio lately, but this card was made before Christmas:
Something simple, but made a bit more dressy with stamped doilies and beautiful K & Co. stickers.
The doilies and sentiment are from Inspired By Stamping. Though I retired from the team, I do love using their stamps.
So much of the U.S. is experiencing very cold temps this week. Hope you're staying warm, wherever you are!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Colleen. Wish my perennial ferns were that green right now. Not a chance in this cold. We may get a dusting of snow later today and certainly cold temps coming our way. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteLovely butterfly and card Colleen. I am ready for Spring and butterflies now! It is cold here even in Alabama! Benzi gets snow as she is in the top of Alabama, but down here in the South of Alabama we rarely do - today we may. The flakes won't stick but I bet we have more accidents than places with a foot as no one here knows what to do! Hugz and thanks for the glimpse of Spring here!

Very pretty, Colleen! I love the scattered pearls and the gorgeous butterfly! After 6 inches of snow Saturday evening, we had overnight wind chills of -45 last night. Our air temp this morning is a balmy -15! Woo hoo for snow days!

ReplyDeleteGosh, the stickers are so beautiful. I thought the fern was a stamp or die cut at first. I have one of each very similar. I need to make two sympathy cards and was thinking of ferns for one of them. This one is so pretty with the fern and butterfly and your soft colors.
