Viva La Verve - January Sketch #5

This is my second post today!  Please click here for 'Pink Socks For Valentine's Day.'

Well, look at that!  I did manage to complete another Viva La Verve January challenge (#5) after all!  In between jobs today, I quickly made this:

I used some new-to-me papers and die cuts from Kaisercraft called Lady Rose - a generous gift from a friend.  :-D  The Verve sentiment is called Galatians 6:9.  Sometimes I need this verse.  Keeps me in check, keeps me on course.

The kids had a snow day yesterday, went back to school today, and tonight we're expecting more snow. The weather forecasters see another storm heading our way this weekend.  Wow, what a winter we're having!

Stamps: Galatians 6:9 - Verve Paper: Naturals White, Chocolate Chip - SU; patterns - - Lady Rose - Kaisercraft Ink: Early Espresso - SU; Walnut Stain - Ranger Fibers: crochet tape - IBS Accessories & Tools: floral, butterfly die cuts - Lady Rose - Kaisercraft; pearls - Queen & Co.; corner rounder punch - Fiskars

  13. These colors are a bit dark but defintely elegant. Something different because I see a lot of soft almost muted colors on your blog (and love that!). Love how you layered this card with an inspring verse and wonderful flowers. And a gorgeous butterfly.

Geesh sounds cold and like a long winter! We had a bit of frost and snw last week but it's all gone for now. But spring is still far away. Stay warm! XX
