Hello! Here's a Valentine card that was sent to the shop a couple of weeks ago. Isn't it cute? I love the red and pink together on a natural, rustic card base.
I've got a 'Colleen Bow' here in a new-to-me shade of seam binding called Ash Pink. It was a Christmas gift and it just keeps on giving and giving, since each roll contains 100-yards (under $10!). And those precious little socks from Lawn Fawn's My Silly Valentine. Love this set at this time of year.
All patterned papers are Stampin' Up! scraps (yay, getting the pile to go down!), and the buttons are from my stash.
Using the same stamp set, and the same color palette, I created another Valentine, but it's not my fave:
The pink 'envelope' was created with a tag I found in a $1 scrap bag a while back. It's such a large tag, I wasn't sure how to use it until now. Just folded up the bottom and created a little pocket for the chipboard-glittered-hearts to pop out of.
Thanks so much for your visit today! :-)

Your first card is both pretty and adorable! I love everything about it -- the colors and papers, the pretty soft pink bow, the die cut, the sentiment, and those funny socks. The second is simply sweet with the hearts floating up out of the envelope and the paper pieced bunny. Too cute!
These are both so cute! I saw the first one and at a glance I didn't get the socks connection, then I read the sentiment. It made me laugh. They are both so clever.
Sooooooooo cute cute cute!! LOVING those socks and that bunny!!!!!!
Adorable cards, Colleen. I love your "Colleen Bow" and that gorgeous color of ribbon.
Cute cards!! I love the socks and sentiment, FUN!
They're both adorable Colleen! I just love your scrumptious pink bow on the first one and the glittery hearts on the second!
These are the most adorable Valentine's cards ever! LOOOOVE them!!!!
I like both your cards, but the sock one is the one that brought a smile. It was a pleasure hearing from you and coming to see your beautiful work too. Blessings!
I like both the cards but the first card is more beautiful! I love the thing that you have used scraps! :) i love that stamp set too.. Haven't used it till now! Now I've got to!
You create magic did you know that? My oh my Colleen; you do so many colors so well and always with a touch of your elegant style! Your socks on the first card made me laugh. And that doily is adding your well known touch of elegance. Red and I are becoming a better combo :) and these papers are beautiful. On your second card you did a great job with that tag. And that bunny...awe...
Hope you are all ok. Thinking of you a lot. Sending a big hug my friend! XXX
