A Topiary For The Happy Couple

Happy Monday! Today's card is perfect for an engagement, wedding, or special anniversary.

On an embossed (Sizzix Ornate Frame) kraft card base, I tied a white seam binding bow at the top, and added a tag with a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Happily Ever After.

A white Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangle frame made the perfect backdrop for a tiny topiary from Papertrey Ink's Topiary Trio. I added a few bitty pearls on the tree.

Thanks so much for your visit today!

It's About Time

Happy Friday! I love when Friday comes around. :-)

Is there such a thing as too many clocks? There may be too many on the masculine birthday card I'm sharing today, ha ha! Between the patterned paper (Colorbok) and a few stamped-and-trimmed-out time pieces, there are at least 25 of them!

I added a couple of buttons and sequins to balance the cluster focal point.

The small watch above is a stamp from Vintage Traveler by Our Craft Lounge.

The large clock stamp is from the stamp set Paris, and the small pocket watch (also above) is from Vintage Pieces - both by Inspired By Stamping.

Thanks so much for visiting, and have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Single-panel Swirly Thanks

Hello! Today's card is a single-panel thank you card, stamped on one side, with the handwritten sentiments on the reverse.

It's got a clean, fresh vibe that is easy to duplicate (I had made quite a few of these at once). I used Hero Arts Leafy Vine background, stamped in green, and overstamped with Think Big Favorites #%- Papertrey Ink sentiment, and a few scattered green sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

That's it! I love when a design comes together quickly and easily yet still looks thoughtful.

Thanks so much for coming by!

Beer Cheers to the Happy Couple!

Hi there!  I'd call this card a semi-fail Custom Design.  LOL

A friend had asked me to create a card for a wedding, and the bride and groom LOVE beer. So, a beer theme was highly suggested. I have no beer stamps, no beer mug dies, so I had to improvise.

I used Papertrey Ink's Propose A Toast dies and stamps to create 'pilsner' type glasses.  I was envisioning a Stella Artois type of beer (fancy!) for these vessels.  I stamped the interior of each glass with Hero Arts Soft Vanilla ink, coated it with Ranger Glossy Accents, and then added some Ranger White Opal Pearl 'foam' at the top.

There's a circle mat beneath the white one...it's a pretty shimmery white cardstock from WorldWin.

So, this drink is somewhere between a champagne and a beer, but is there such a thing in real life? I'm not sure. I'm a wine drinker. :-)

Thanks for coming by today!

Chickens

Hello! We've got temps in the 80s today, unusual for April here. I am not looking forward to this, because I favor cooler temps...in April.  Not ready to put on shorts...in April. Or turn on the air conditioner...in April. (Can you tell I'm having a bit of a problem with this? LOL)

I'm sharing a card I made last summer, and it's all about chickens.

These cute little dies are from Papertrey Ink's On The Farm set. I set them upon green gingham grass, against an orange sunset. Under the grass is a bit of white tulle, rolled up and tied with vintage thread bows on either end.

The background is a natural cardstock base, topped with a white Chicken Wire diecut from My Favorite Things Dienamics. The sentiment is from an older Fiskars stamp set.

I've even stamped a rooster inside (Inspired by Stamping French Country).

Be well, stay cool (if you're in a hot zone today), and be blessed!  Thanks for coming by!

Custom Design: A Bridal Bouquet

Hi! This wedding card was a custom order from a coworker.  She gave me the bride and groom's invitation (second picture below) to be inspired by. I love doing this kind of card! It's my favorite kind of challenge. :-)

This glorious arrangement of blossoms is from the Flourishes Spring Bouquet stamp set (retired), colored with Copic markers, and sprinkled with clear glitter.

The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink's Garden Gild set.  I matted the focal panel on a piece of mirrored gold cardstock, then a piece of burgundy cardstock.

Thanks so much for your visit today!

Alleluia, He is Risen!

Hello everyone!  I've got many Easter cards to share in this post today, and they are available at Arts Plus Gallery in Collingswood, New Jersey.

The Cross at Calvary is the theme...

John 3:16, King James Bible
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Thank you so much for coming by today. :-)  I truly appreciate your visit!

Grassy Bunny

Hi there! I'm popping in real quickly with an Easter card, since Easter is getting closer.

Many of the elements were from a $1.00 Scrap Bag from my Stampin' Up! demonstrator a while back, so I don't know the names of the die or stamps used.

How do you like this polka dot fringe grass?
