Jaclyn Miller gave us a neat color story for The Play Date Cafe this week:
Our sponsor, Stampendous, sent each of us on the Design Team a stamp from their new line, Frantage. This is the stamp I received:
I love the color story, but didn't seem to have just the right colors. I tried to come close. My Copic marker collection is especially lacking, even though my kids think I have "so many".
Due to the color story, my lady has gray hair! I think she looks pretty good in that gray. ;) I didn't pencil in any wrinkles to go with the hair, though.
Head over to The Play Date Cafe to see our Guest Designer this week, the multi-talented Stephanie Severin!

Great job Colleen - love the muted background papers you've put together to frame your image :)
Fabulous, Colleen! I LOVE this image! You did an excellent job coloring it!
this is so beautiful, love it
Great job using the stamp and those colors-neat card.
Maybe my age is showing but I think the gray is elegant :) This is beautiful!
This is such a beautiful lady, gray hair and all! The skin tones are amazing! I really like what you did with these colors!
I really like this deco lady and you've really colored her so pretty, Colleen.
This is gorgeous, suvh a beautiful stamp, love the colours too.
She is beautiful! And she is indeed a beautiful older lady! What a great card with the backdrop and ribbon you gave her. Lovely!
What a unique design, Colleen! You've done a beautiful coloring job on that lovely lady. My sister was mostly grey before she hit her 30s, and even now that she is completely gray, her face is totally unlined. So silver foxes don't necessarily have wrinkles!! I love her just the way she is!
LOVE what you've done with that image, girl! And so glad you didn't give her wrinkles :)! LOL!
Fabulous image! The gray hair is lovely on here...hehehe. Actually, I had to look again because it didn't seem gray when I first looked at it. And perfect paper for a lovely card! Take care, hugs!:-))
So beautiful! Love the vintage look! I think the colors are great!
Love how you colored in your image and used the decorative papers. I have the same problem with my copics - no matter how many I get!! Very pretty card!!
I think it turned out gorgeous; despite the Copics :)
I enlarged the picture and I love the subtle shades in her grey hair. I am not grey but I do have wrinkles; most of them becuase of laughter.....
Your image looks gorgeous and so does your card. Love it!

Amazing! I would have had a hard time working with these colors for this image, but you pulled it off beautifully! I love her gray hair. It becomes her.
I think her hair looks lovely, she looks really graceful. Great job!
Love what you've done with the stamp, Col...I think she's colored in perfectly and the design looks awesome with that great border and elegant ribbon!
