Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Challenge #21

Hello!  I'm playing in the new Inspired By Stamping Inspiration Challenge, and here is the GORGEOUS inspiration photo --

Joanna always chooses the prettiest pictures!  This week we'd like to see a Garden Theme, using Pinks, Yellows and Greens.

I made two projects.  The first didn't 'wow' me, so then I made another.  When I showed both to my 14 YO critic, she actually liked my original project best.  I feel the opposite.  You be the judge....

Project #1 -

I've used Sweet Aviary, All Year Wishes I and Springtime Beauty II here.

Project #2 -

This one incorporates Delicate Doilies (as the sun) and Springtime Beauty II.

The paper pieced birds are dressed with My Mind's Eye 'Quite Contrary' papers, which were free with a UK crafting magazine a while back.

I love making doily suns.  Another recent post shows that, too.  :-)

I decorated the envelope, too.

Come play with us!  Just link up your creation HERE.  A new challenge begins every Thursday.  See you there!

Well that is one hard decision. They are both such lovely card. But I think if I had to chose it would be #1 and only because I have a thing for birdcages.. They really are both such fabulous cards..

Hugs~

Impossible to choose, I'd just buy them both lol. Love the first one, so pretty with the birdcage and delicate embossing. Love the second one with the sweet whimsy birds and doily stamped sun (borrowing that idea btw).

Absolute tie! Both cards are so charming and now I, too, will be making "doily suns"! I'm happy to see your "Operation Write Home" logo. Let's spread that word because troops love our cards!

They're both super great. The first one is a beautiful breath of fresh air...so spring like. Love it.
The second one is adorable with the paper pieced birdies and grass.

So there you have it...no choosing. LOL

They're just too different to pick a favorite, Col, but I love 'em both to pieces! The soft, girly look of the first, especially with your background embossing and fringed ribbon are AMAZING, but I also adore that sweet, little scene of your second. Your sunshine is just perfect!

Tough call - the grass is so fresh and funky on the second, but I love the embossing and ribbon on the first! Brilliant matching envelope probably wins it for card no.2!!

It's hard to pick a favorite because in my - humble:) - opinion you did a fab job on both beauties. But in the end; your 2nd card. It's bright, happy, showing us your amazing "doily"sun and puts a smile on my face. Besides the beauty....And I LOVE matching envelopes!
