Welcome! It's my pleasure to be Guest Designing this week at City Crafter. This card of mine was the winner a couple of weeks ago, and as a result, I am helping to bring this week's challenge to you. :-) Thank you to Kirsty Vittetoe and the whole team for having me!
On both cards, I used a rubber stamp with no name by PSX. I bought it on eBay years ago, but rarely ink it up. Topiaries always capture my heart, so this stamp is a treasure to me. Since the stamp is finely detailed, for version #1 I kept the color scheme to black and white, with pops of olive green added by the ribbon and the sentiment from Inspired By Stamping's Graceful Hydrangea set.
The next version is my fave, I think. I loved coloring these topiaries with my Copic markers.
Inspired By Stamping phrase combined with Paper Smooches birthday sentiment = joy!
Stamps: topiaries - PSX; Birthday Greetings - Inspired By Stamping; Salutations - Paper Smooches
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White - SU; pattern - Garden Vignettes - My Mind's Eye Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black - Tsukineko Fibers: gray sheer ribbon - JoAnn's Tools: Labels Thirteen die - Spellbinders Accessories: rhinestones - Queen & Co.; Copic markers
Thanks so much for coming by today! Hope you get a chance to play along at City Crafter. :-)

WOW and WOW! Love the pop of green, they look absolutely rockin!
Beautiful cards ! I could never imagine using this stamps to make such gorgeous cards !
Hi Colleen! Wow, your cards are both absolutely gorgeous, and I love the fact that you kept the colours simple and the same, so they match and are like one. The first one is truly professional Colleen, if it were in the shops I would defenitely buy it! And you coloured the trees on the second one beautifully.
Wishing you a happy day.
Hugs, Wendy
Oh, Colleen, ich bin begeistert, die beiden Karten sind wunderschön.

I love these topiaries, both in the black and white and colored! A beautiful sentiment for the inside too!
Both cards look great. What a fun stamp you used. I love the ones you colored in green. But they both look great!

Love both of these. I somehow missed this post before. Hard to pick a favorite, but there's something about the first card that really appeals to me.
Oh, CONGRATS on your Guest Designer gig!!! This looked like such a fun challenge to play along with. I LOVED seeing two different takes on this pretty stamp. Lovely all the way around!!!
