Nope, I don't have a punchline for that set-up, but I do have a couple of "un-Colleen-like" cards to share, and a frog, a rabbit and a dragonfly are making an appearance here. :-D
This elongated card, featuring a frog and dragonfly from Stampin' Up!'s Unfrogettable, was sent to my nephew for his birthday. He's 11 now, and I know this might seem a bit 'juvenile' for a tweenager. After the Masculine category of cards, Kid cards are my second-least-favorite to make. I'm just no good at them.
I had a large scalloped-circle die cut in my Bits & Pieces stash, and it made a good tree canopy. I just added some cartoonish foliage, and cut brown cardstock to make a tree trunk.
I'm entering this card in a challenge which is new to me, and sadly, is already closing soon - for good. It's called Just Punch It. The theme is 'Free For All.'
Also entering at A Blog Named Hero, where the challenge is 'Build a Background.' I hope this counts, creating a background scene for my critters.
The next card using skinny strips from the ol' stash, and a bunny and sentiment from Lawn Fawn's My Silly Valentine. This was sent to my niece for her birthday a few months back. She turned 9.
I'm entering this at Seize The Birthday, where the theme is 'Anything Goes.'
Let's pretend that I meant to place this bunny on a 'rug', when really it was to cover a stamping mistake. Ooops!
I'm skipping the usual supply list on this post. I am waaaay behind on photo-editing all the things I've made in the last month or so, as well as preparing blog posts. I worked SIX days this week, and it looks like next week will be the same. For this homebody, 6 days is a LOT to be away from my nest.
I'm rather anxious for the tax deadline of April 15th to roll around so life can get back to somewhat normal for me. Looking forward, though, to whatever job the temp service will have for me next. Earning regular paychecks is a wonderful thing!

These are soooooooooo cute cute cute... and I am IN LOVE with your blog post title .. so FUN!!!
Very cute cards! Great way to cover a mistake. No one would know if you didn't tell. Love that sweet bunny! Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday!
I think kid's cards are hard too. These are fantastic and fun!
These are just the cutest cards. I love how you created your tree. And, the bunny card is precious. Nice rug for a cover-up. Good job...I would have never known.
On another note: Yep, 34 bags...we have a lot of trees and a lot of leaves. Although, they are cleaned off the yard, we leave them in my beds through the winter with the mulch to keep things warm underneath. What a chore to get them out of there!!!
CUTENESS Colleen!! You did a great job on your boy card. A frog and a bug, what's NOT for a boy to love!! Let's face it though, they're hard to make a card for at any age LOL. Sweet little bunny card too ;)
Your blog title has me smiling. Too fun. Both card look awesome. and best of luck to you on your next job.
Hugs~
Although these are out of your comfort zone, you are doing a good job with these cute and adorable cards, Colleen!
This card is cool in so many levels!
Really love it!
Great cards, and yes, a bit different than normal "Colleen" but still very cute and so well done. Sounds like work is going well, if busy, glad to hear that.
Both are super cute Colleen! Unfrogettable was always one of my favorites and your bunny card is precious! Hugz!
Thank you so much for joining in at Just Punch it!! Your froggy card is the cutest!!
Adorable cards Colleen! Love that little bunny!
Thank you for joining us at Seize The Birthday. :)
Love these cute cards - the frog and dragonfly have so much personality! Thanks for playing along at A Blog Named Hero!
Gosh, Colleen, these are fun! I think your bunny looks like he was meant to be on a rug. Sometimes those errors turn out to be lucky additions. You are turning out an amazing number of cards. I'm lucky to average three a week!
What a cute card! That is a really clever way to build a scene! The frog is adorable :) Thanks for taking part of the challenge at ABNH!
