This is my second post for today. Please click here for a Pair of Retirement Cards.
I'm back already today, this time with a sympathy card that fits into the Paper Players challenge: Monochromatic Clean & Simple. Made this card a week or so ago, but just photo-edited yesterday:
The point of this card was to play with a new-to-me background stamp by Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz - Distressed Floral. Isn't it gorgeous? The Boutique Borders: Sympathy die and stamp from Papertrey Ink made a good pairing with the background, I think.
Yesterday I photographed 24 cards!! Yikes, that's a lot of photo-editing facing me! It'll take me some time. I tend to do mine in batches, sitting for hours in front of the computer, banging out a bunch at once. How do you do yours? One at a time, or a group of them?
Stamps: Boutique Borders: Sympathy - PTI; Distressed Floral background - Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz Paper: Sahara Sand, Old Olive, Very Vanilla - SU; white - PTI Ink: pale taupe - Anna Griffin; Versafine Onyx Black - Tsukineko; Sahara Sand - SU Fibers: ivory satin ribbon - Anna Griffin Accessories & Tools: Boutique Borders: Sympathy die - PTI; Elegant Scrollwork die - Memory Box; Branch punch - Martha Stewart; paper flower

A lovely sympathy card! Very pretty background, flourish, and flower!
Love how you paired off the Distressed Floral and the Boutique Borders with the muted background.
I usually take one card at a time but with an average of about 5 shots per card for editing!
Wow....this is stunning, but then, you always make stunning cards! What a gorgeous background stamp...so perfect for the Players this week! So glad you played! And I usually tend to do one (or two) cards at a time!

Very elegant sympathy card! The stamped background and the scroll design go well together. So glad you shared your creation at The Paper Players.
Oh this is just gorgeous - the background is amazing...kind of looks likes stone. Beautiful sympathy card.
What a beautiful and soothing card Colleen! I love the colors! Will have a calming effect for sure on the recipient.
Wooohoo! 24 cards?! :) I do mine in batches too. But never did 24 at once. :)
PERFECT sympathy card! I feel the love!
This is so serene and elegant! A beautiful sympathy card!
Beautiful and perfect, Colleen! The background is gorgeous, indeed. 24 cards? Wow! That would be about 3 months worth of cards for me. I like to photograph them before I have too many because I have difficulty finding a stretch of time to devote to it. Someday... sigh...
This is stunning! I love that background, and everything comes together perfectly for a sympathy card.
I tend to take photos once or twice a week, so I usually edit in batches of 10-12 cards. If it's a really productive week then I usually just do photos once - and editing that many at once is sooooo borrrrring!
This is gorgeous, Colleen! Love the background, and also the flourish and delicate leaves. Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
Colleen this is gorgeous! The fancy flourish and soft colors work beautifully together!
Wow! This is stunning, Col! Love that background stamp, and your layered die cuts add such great texture! Oh, and I tend to do my editing one at a time ;). Hugs!

I would scream if I had to photo 24 cards in one day! Nice work!
