Autumn Leaves Birthday

I have an autumnal birthday card to share today.  The chocolate cardstock was run through a Big Shot with the Tim Holtz "Acorns" Embossing Folder.  Then I used Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Gold Rush with my finger to shine up the raised areas of the leaves and acorns.  So pretty in real life.  The paper leaves were made with both coffee filters and sleeves from Starbucks coffee cups, with the Tim Holtz Bigz die "Tattered Leaves."  I used various Distress Sprays to get some color onto two of the leaves.  The final, simple touch is a sentiment from Papertrey Ink "Birthday Basics" and a twine bow.

Butterfly Birthday

Hello!  I made a birthday card featuring a butterfly collage-type stamp atop a scalloped tag die cut (die set from Temu).  There's a strip of faux vintage tickets used as a border under the butterfly, but it's not too noticeable because I loaded it up with punched flowers in Night of Navy (Stampin' Up!).  I used Nuvo Drops in a gold color in the center of each flower.  The sentiment tag:  Papertrey Ink's "Tiny Tags" die and stamp set.

Painted Woodware Violas

Hello!  This week at Topflight Stamps, our theme is the company Woodware.  I chose to use their Viola stamp set, one of my faves!   On a piece of recycled store-bought greeting card, cut to fit my card base, I painted a background that would nicely highlight the Violas.  I used PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Koala paint to cover the evidence LOL and made a fresh, clean place to stamp the Viola.  Once that was dry, I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Pixie Dust Spray randomly on the panel.  And once that was dry, then stamped Viola in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on top.  On a separate piece of paper, I painted PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Wisteria and let it dry, then stamped Viola there too so I could trim and paper-piece onto my card.  I added a butterfly from AALL & Create Delicate Wings (fussy-cut and layered on), some gems from my stash, and inked the edges of the panel with Lavinia Graphite Dye Ink.

Neighborhood Homes

I try to keep a stash of New Home cards ready for delivery to the shop when they need more (Arts Plus Gallery in Collingswood), and this was a recent make.  The background layer was stamped with The Greetery's "Seed Catalog", topped with a beautiful piece of copper metallic cardstock that was dry embossed (Stampin' Up!, but not sure of the name).  The final pieces to add were some cute little houses (Stampin' Up! "Holiday Home"), stamped simply in black and edges gently inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink.  The sentiment is a digital, from The Graphics Fairy.

Hope you have a blessed day!

Birdcage Neutrals

I loooove a neutral color theme, and take delight in making a card with it.  On a scrap of kraft cardstock, I stamped Stampin' Up! "Elements of Style" toile flower in background, also in a kraft color.  Then the Hampton Arts "Bird Cages" was stamped on top of it, in black.  The grungy paper layer behind it is a digital image from I think My Porch Prints.  The two little labels added were stamped from Tim Holtz "Curator" and Globeland "Vintage Numbers" (a brand I find on Amazon; good prices, good quality).

Thanks for taking a peek, and have a wonderful day!

Good Times

Hi!  Popping in to share a "thinking of you" card made with Chapter One Papers "Damask Rose" from Etsy.  I scaled the page, which is 8.5" x 11", down to a 3.5" x 5" so it would fit neatly on this card.  Though it's hard to tell in a photo, the light blue paper behind it is baby blue metallic cardstock, which was run through the Big Shot with a Sizzix / Eileen Hull embossing folder called "Table Cloth".  The sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink, and the "good times" stamp is from a generic set from Temu.

Have a terrific day!

Christmas Robin

Good morning!  This card feels very appropriate for today.  We had at least a foot of snow between yesterday and today, and it's still snowing!  It's very beautiful, but I do feel badly that my husband has to do the shoveling.  Good thing he is strong.

For this Christmas card, the color scheme inspiration came from the gorgeous vintage robin post card image, from The Graphics Fairy.  The background die cut is Papertrey Ink's "In The Woods" in Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!) and the branches were topped with iridescent glitter glue.  The same glitter glue is also on the bird image.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up!'s "Winter Post" oldie but goodie stamp set.

Stay warm, and thanks for taking a peek today!
God bless you!

Flower Press Art Collection

Hello!  This is an Anything Goes week at Topflight Stamps, and I am sharing a neutral colored card featuring Flower Press by AALL & Create again!  On January 22nd, I used this same pretty stamp in a paper-pieced fashion.  For today's card, I went with a sort of clean and simple look.  On a piece of packaging I was hanging on to, I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I inked the edges of the panel with Lavinia Truffle Dye Ink, a rich brown.  The panel was glued onto a kraft background card base.  My little ephemera piece is a nest image from PaperArtsy Apple Blossom Edition by Alison Bomber, stamped in the Versafine Onyx Black, trimmed, and touched up around the edges with the Lavinia Truffle Ink.  I used dimensional tape to adhere it onto the card, and underlined it with some floral embroidery trim from my stash.

Joy Bird

Hi there!  I had a pretty piece of vintage lace, already in the shape of a rosette, and needed to find a way to put it on a card.  I had just finished stamping/die-cutting a bird with foliage from Temu, and it seemed the perfect topper for the lace.  The background paper is from Hobby Lobby.  The "joy" sentiment is from Hero Arts "Peace Poinsettias" on a little Papertrey Ink "Tiny Tag" die cut.  I used a bulb-shaped safety pin that came with some new clothes, and added some pearls to it.  I attached it in such a way that it does dangle a little bit, there is some movement.  Something fun and different. 😊

Thanks for your visit!
God bless you!

My One and Only Valentine

Hello all!  I made this card for my husband this Valentine's Day.  I am loving the neutral tones.  The background is a piece of parchment paper, stamped over with Wplus9 "Vintage Ephemera" stamps.  The lacy heart die cut is from Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Hearts.  I added some rhinestones to some of the flowers, and a sentiment from Emily Moore Designs (a Valentine's freebie).

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Lavinia's Snowy Forest Christmas Card

Hello!  We're focusing on the beautiful products from Lavinia today at Topflight Stamps.  I gathered a couple of versatile stamps to create a snowy winter forest Christmas card.  I began with watercolor paper and Lindy's Stamp Gang Buccaneer Bay Blue Mist to create a moody background.  This spray has both a walnut brown and a pretty blue shift to it.  Once it dried, I used Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp first the Lavinia Moon.  Once that was positioned on the panel, I stamped the Lavinia Christmas Tree Group three times (well, really 2 and 1/8) across the bottom of the panel. And using the same ink, I stamped a sentiment from PaperArtsy Alison Bomber EAB05 stamp set to round it out.  The final touch was some iridescent glitter glue, dabbed across the trees.  Thanks so much for joining me, hope you have a great day!

Inlovearts "Stackable Hearts" die; paper flower from stash; sentiment Papertrey Ink "Daily Design Sentiments"

Stampin' Up! "Bloomin' Love" heart die and sentiment not sure which SU set; red gems

God Knew

Hello there!  A friend sent me a small package of pretty panels and ephemera, like the vintage invoice seen here, and in order to thank her I made a card with it.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder, the pale green stamped border on the tag is from SU's Very Versailles.  A bit of vintage lace, and some SU Itty Bitty Punch flowers with pearls were all it needed, so that the focus is on the sentiment.

Thanks for joining me and God bless you!

Cute Little Someone

Hello there!  This baby card came together by first focusing on this cute bunny digital art tag (I think My Porch Prints but not sure).  From those soft colors, I picked a Papertrey Ink In The Woods Background die in a pale blue to nestle behind him.  A couple of sparkling clear sequins, a pale pink linen twine bow, and Stampin' Up! sentiment (not sure which set, but it's "old") and some vintage lace complete the look.

Thanks for joining me!  God bless you!
