Plum Christmas

Hi there!  I made a simple Christmas card using shades of lavender and plum.  Love this color for Christmas, it's different and unexpected.  I cut a tree out of plum glitter paper by DCWV and laid it atop a pretty digital printable that has lots of antique engraving flourishes.  The tree die is called "Christmas Tree" by Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink too, from the "Silent Night" stamp set.

Oh Christmas Tree!

O, Christmas Tree, o, Christmas Tree
How steadfast are your branches!
Your boughs are green in summer's clime
And through the snows of wintertime
O, Christmas Tree, o, Christmas Tree
How steadfast are your branches!

Have a beautiful day!

He Is Risen!

Happy Resurrection Sunday / Happy Easter!  What a blessed day to celebrate!

(Mark 16:1–8Luke 24:1–12John 20:1–9) BSB (Berean Standard Bible)

1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.

2Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and sat on it. 3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards trembled in fear of him and became like dead men.

5But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay. 7Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ See, I have told you.”

8So they hurried away from the tomb in fear and great joy, and ran to tell His disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” They came to Him, grasped His feet, and worshiped Him. 10“Do not be afraid,” said Jesus. “Go and tell My brothers to go to Galilee. There they will see Me.”

What good news for mankind!
Enjoy this day with your loved ones. 💛

Golden Bird

I've got so many pretty digital printable images, and most are waiting for their special day to be featured on a card.  LOL  This lucky gal made it!  It's a floral tag from, I believe, My Porch Prints.  I fussy-cut it and inked the edged, then mounted on a pale yellow patterned paper and snippet of an old hymnal page.
The chipboard bird has been given a gilded look with Distress Ink Spray in Antiqued Bronze.  Looks so pretty in real life.  The bird is bearing a tiny - but "big" - birthday wish from Papertrey Ink's "Tiny Tags" stamp set.

Thanks for taking a peek!
Hope your day is full of blessings!

Irish Blessing

I should have posted this yesterday, on St. Patrick's Day!  That's me, usually a day (or more) late.  LOL
This is a rather simple card, with two shades of bluish green for the card base, and a strip of an old hymnal page.  In the circle are an assortment of shamrocks and clovers (from Papertrey Ink's "Irish Blessings" stamped in a mint green, with a sentiment from the same stamp set.  The shamrock die is by Memory Box "Lucky Leaves."

Have a blessed evening!

Be Mine

Here's a Valentine for next year, something pink and frilly, complete with feathery trim!  The trim comes from Webster's Pages, and has some shimmer to it.  The darker pink heart die cuts are from My Creative Time "Prim Hearts".  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink "Daily Designs Sentiments."

Have a blessed day!
Thanks for your visit!

Single Sparkly Tree

Another Christmas card to share:  this went to my mom this past Christmas.  She likes a modern aesthetic, so I think this comes clos.  The background of the olive green card base was embossed with Sizzix "Winter Foliage" 3D embossing folder.  Love the detail of it.  The green glitter tree was a gift tag on one of our gifts years ago, topped with a gold glitter punched star.  The iridescent white glitter "snow" is a diecut using Papertrey Ink "In The Meadow" die set.

Have a WONDERFUL day, and make the most of it!

Autumn Leaves Birthday

I have an autumnal birthday card to share today.  The chocolate cardstock was run through a Big Shot with the Tim Holtz "Acorns" Embossing Folder.  Then I used Simon Hurley Lunar Paste in Gold Rush with my finger to shine up the raised areas of the leaves and acorns.  So pretty in real life.  The paper leaves were made with both coffee filters and sleeves from Starbucks coffee cups, with the Tim Holtz Bigz die "Tattered Leaves."  I used various Distress Sprays to get some color onto two of the leaves.  The final, simple touch is a sentiment from Papertrey Ink "Birthday Basics" and a twine bow.

Thanks for taking a peek!
Hope your day is wonderful!

Butterfly Birthday

Hello!  I made a birthday card featuring a butterfly collage-type stamp atop a scalloped tag die cut (die set from Temu).  There's a strip of faux vintage tickets used as a border under the butterfly, but it's not too noticeable because I loaded it up with punched flowers in Night of Navy (Stampin' Up!).  I used Nuvo Drops in a gold color in the center of each flower.  The sentiment tag:  Papertrey Ink's "Tiny Tags" die and stamp set.

Thanks for coming by!  Hope you have a terrific day!

Good Times

Hi!  Popping in to share a "thinking of you" card made with Chapter One Papers "Damask Rose" from Etsy.  I scaled the page, which is 8.5" x 11", down to a 3.5" x 5" so it would fit neatly on this card.  Though it's hard to tell in a photo, the light blue paper behind it is baby blue metallic cardstock, which was run through the Big Shot with a Sizzix / Eileen Hull embossing folder called "Table Cloth".  The sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink, and the "good times" stamp is from a generic set from Temu.

Have a terrific day!

Christmas Robin

Good morning!  This card feels very appropriate for today.  We had at least a foot of snow between yesterday and today, and it's still snowing!  It's very beautiful, but I do feel badly that my husband has to do the shoveling.  Good thing he is strong.

For this Christmas card, the color scheme inspiration came from the gorgeous vintage robin post card image, from The Graphics Fairy.  The background die cut is Papertrey Ink's "In The Woods" in Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!) and the branches were topped with iridescent glitter glue.  The same glitter glue is also on the bird image.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up!'s "Winter Post" oldie but goodie stamp set.

Stay warm, and thanks for taking a peek today!
God bless you!

Cute Little Someone

Hello there!  This baby card came together by first focusing on this cute bunny digital art tag (I think My Porch Prints but not sure).  From those soft colors, I picked a Papertrey Ink In The Woods Background die in a pale blue to nestle behind him.  A couple of sparkling clear sequins, a pale pink linen twine bow, and Stampin' Up! sentiment (not sure which set, but it's "old") and some vintage lace complete the look.

Thanks for joining me!  God bless you!

Baby Deer

Hello!  Back again!  I've had some time to photo cards, edit cards, and make some posts, and this is bringing me joy.  Hope you're pleased to see some cards here too!  It's been a while, in general.

This baby card focuses on Papertrey Ink's Make It Market: Wee Folk creatures on the center panel.  The sentiment is also from PTI - Bunny Basket.  I am always finding a way to add the Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch flowers, too.  😊

Thanks for joining me, God bless you!

Christmas Angel

Hello friends,

I'm sharing a Christmas card I made this past holiday season, in preparation for next Christmas.  The angel and little December calendar are both from The Graphics Fairy.  I subscribe to their weekly email newsletter, and usually find some neat things for free.  These items are from that stash.

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink "Christmas Blessings" on a PTI "Tiny Tag" die cut.  The poinsettia is made of paper, and I've had it in my drawer for several years.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Easy Pastel New Home Cards

A friend had given me a bunch of cardmaking goodies she didn't want anymore. Among the items were these bright, fun papers and some matching die cuts.  I assembled them into two new home cards, and added a sentiment to each.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink "Love Lives Here."

Thanks for looking at my cards today!
Have a blessed day!

Pink & Green for a birthday and a baby

Just popping in with a couple of pink and green cards to share today, one for a birthday and one for a baby.  Both were simple to put together, using some favorite tried-and-true items I like.  Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch / Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Accents flower punch; stamped sentiments; patterned paper; trim of some sort.  It's like a magic formula for me. 😄

sentiment - The Greetery "Sentiment Suite: Birthday"; hydrangea punch - Martha Stewart; flower punch - Stampin' Up! "Itty Bitty Accents"

Baby sentiment - Papertrey Ink "Tiny Tags"; Congratulations sentiment - Hero Arts "Everyday Sayings"; pink crochet flower - Stampin' Up!
