Christmas Wreath - CAS(E) This Sketch #371 challenge

Happy Mother's Day to you!  💜 I hope you are being treated with loving kindness today by those around you.  My family is giving me lots of quiet solitude this weekend, which I require in big doses as an introvert, and I've been crafting (of course!) and listening to worship songs.  My kind of happy. 😀  My husband just placed an order from The Cheesecake Factory, so we'll have that for dinner, and he's baking a blueberry cobbler for dessert.  Yum.  My man is so talented in his cooking and baking!  Am I blessed, or what? LOL

Yesterday I had played in my first challenge in a long time, and it was so fun!  I soooo appreciate the lovely comments some folks had left for me regarding that card.  Thank you!!

Today, I've got a Christmas card to share as part of another challenge:  CAS(E) This Sketch #371.

Papertrey Ink Rustic Wreath die, Tiny Tags tag die, and sentiment (can't find the set name!); gold sequins; vintage thread; crochet lace; Pink Paislee puffy flourish sticker; flourish panel from the inside of a store-bought card

I use Evernote as an app on my phone and computer, to keep track of my many stamp sets and dies, etc.  However, I could not find which stamp set this sentiment came from.  I think it's a Papertrey Ink set, but I could not locate it while putting this post together.  Sorry about that!

I adapted the challenge sketch a bit to get vertical stripes from my patterned paper into the action.

Thanks to all at CAS(E) This Sketch for having me this week.  😃

Before I go, I wanted to share what I found on my Bible app this morning (it's the YouVersion Bible app; I really like it):

Isn't that nice?  We work hard (I know it's not just moms; dads and grandparents get in on the act of raising our children, too) to raise our kids right.  A lot goes into the creating of a safe, secure, loving and nurturing home for our families, and sometimes it is downright exhausting, when juggling all the duties upon us.  The idea of honoring mothers touches me deeply, especially the older I get and the older my children get (two girls, one is almost 22 years old, and the other is 18 years old).  It gives me better appreciation for what my own mother has done all of my life.  I love her so much.  💗

Thanks so much for coming by today, and God bless you!
