Guest Designing for Creative Worship Stamps - Forest Floor Tag

Hello all!  I'm so excited to be a guest designer for the month of April at Creative Worship Stamps!!  I'll be sharing projects with you throughout the month.

Today, I've got a cardboard tag to show you.  I die cut the tag and covered it with some patterned paper from my stash.  On white cardstock, I stamped a Song Bird and used the matching die to cut it out.  Then I did the same with images from Vintage Nature Elements.  I used alcohol markers to give rich color to each piece, then figured out a pleasing arrangement.  Before gluing everything down, I added a strip of vintage lace (it is actually from a curtain I had decades ago... that counts as vintage, right?  LOL) across the bottom to build a "forest floor" - a fancy one, at that!

Supplies from Creative Worship Stamps:

- vintage lace
- twine
- alcohol markers
- cardboard
- tag die
- patterned paper

Thank you so much for taking a peek!
God bless you!

How fun! Lace, vintage - hey, it works for me! Now I know what to do with my old Dutch lace curtains from the previous home owner. I love tags and just haven’t made many for quite awhile. I will be glad when my shoulder heals and hopefully Bernie will be calmer and let me create after he is neutered! I like how you “grounded” the tag. I learn so much from you!

Oh, how pretty this is! Such beautiful stamps and dies, and you've put them together so nicely. Hey, anything from my youth counts as vintage!
