Play Date Cafe 71 - Color Splash of Your Choice

Welcome to a new twist on an old favorite at the Play Date Cafe...Color Splash Week!

This week the challenge involves a black and white creation -- with a splash of ONE color of YOUR choice.  My Player's Choice splash of color is Caribbean Blue.....

I used a Lizzie Anne birdcage stamp from "The Monthly Mix - May 2010 Dream Big".
Isn't it adorable?   LoVe this stamp!  The bird and cage were colored with Stampin' Up! markers, decorated with aqua bling from Michael's, and 'hung' with Caribbean twine from The Twinery.

The Twinery is our sponsor this week at the Play Date Cafe.  And our very own Julie Ranae is the "Guest Designer"!  Julie is on the Design Team at the Twinery, too.

Some lucky duck is going to win this gorgeous assortment of twine, which includes three brand new colors --
First, go check out what the other Play Date gals have dreamed up for you this week:

Fiona -- Andrea -- Sarah -- Jinny -- Ruby -- Libby

Ready to play with us?

Please follow THE PLAY DATE CAFE RULES carefully to enter.
Deadline for prizes is 11:59pm EST on Tuesday

We want you to enjoy this challenge.
Interpret the colors the way you see them.

What a sweet color splash card, Colleen! That Lizzie Anne image is just adorable, and I love how you strung up the bird cage with that pretty baker's twine. How did we get along without baker's twine before?? It's so much fun. Just like this adorable card!!

Ooh, Colleen....you know I love this image with the bird and cage. Such a pretty 'splash' color you used. Who wouldn't love to win those bundles of twine?
To answer the question from yesterday, that sentiment piece on my 'Funky Vintage' came from Hobby Lobby in a pkg. of those labels. You won't believe as I was using it, I was thinking they looked like Colleen. How about that?
