Washi Tape On My Mind

If you've noticed, using washi tape is huge right now.  I'm always late to the party when it comes to trends.  Can't help it.  I'm a classic, traditional kind of gal.  Never hip-and-happenin'.  That's okay with me, though.

So, along comes a new stamp set by Inspired By Stamping:  Washi Tape.  I'm sneak-peeking it!!  It's brand new, and will be released on April 10th.  :-)  It's a super fun set with almost limitless possibilities.  ...AND now I get to play in Moxie Fab World's Washi Tape Challenge.  Yay!

The sentiment is brand new too - it also makes its debut on April 10th.  The set name is Trendy Circle Sentiments, with 12 fun, fanciful phrases.  I like how this sentiment nestled comfortably in the curves created by the washi tape stamps.

I'm entering in these challenges too:

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card.  Hope you have a great day!

Stamps:  Washi Tape, Trendy Circle Sentiments - Inspired By Stamping not available until April 10, 2013

So COOL Colleen!!! You manage to make trendy so BEAUTIFUL!!! I have two rolls but I've never got around to using them - I've opened the boxes they came in a few times, but always put them back... Maybe stamping washi would do the trick and make me a bit trendier!!

Happy Easter hugs, Karin

I haven't jumped on the Washi tape wagon yet! The big problem is that I can't make up my mind about which tapes to get and I don't want to have to get a dozen rolls. This stamp may be the way for me to go! Fantastic and you can make it whatever color you need! Hope you have a wonderful Easter. We had all the kids today to celebrate and after an eggsciting day with them, the quiet is blissful! Hope all are well there.

I'm slow to pick up trends, too. My stamp room is chock full of items from when I wasn't so slow, and I'm still trying to use them up. Eyelets, for instance. Who uses them anymore? I have a truckload. These stamps make pretty trim that will always be useful. I love the colorful simplicity of your card!

This is beautiful! Great choice of colors and I like how the washi tapes are stamped creating a curve. By the way, couldn't tell they were stamps until I read the post!
