Bundle of Joy

How are you today?  I'm glad you popped in so I can show you a baby card I made.  It's 'gender neutral', so it can swing either way.

The smaller star is a Fiskars punch, and the larger one is a Wplus9 die.  To be honest, I didn't realize Wplus9 had dies until I bought this shortly after Christmas.  I love the set!  I'm on the lookout for a good set of heart-shaped dies too.  Any suggestions?  I'm not fond of the common set by Spellbinders.  It has a weird shape where the two halves of the heart meet.

I'm entering this at Addicted To Stamps, for their 'Anything Goes' challenge, and Lawnscaping for their 'Clean & Simple' challenge.

Where has the month of May gone?  It's Memorial Day Weekend!  Cripes, the time is a-flyin' by too fast.  What will you be doing this weekend?  We will be working hard in the backyard, redefining a garden bed along the fence and planting 8 arborvitae bushes.  I'm dreading it already!  LOL

Thanks so much for your visit!

Fabulous baby card, the colours are great and a nice change from the usual pinks & blues. The stars are a great addition. Have a great weekend, Shirleyx

Very sweet card Colleen, the baby carriage is darling! I bought the PTI limitless layers hearts die set and I really like it! There aren't any small hearts, I think they're all 2" or so. But they have the prettiest edges and a plain one to nestles inside of them!

This is just precious, Colleen!!! And when you find those heart dies, let me know. I'm not too keen on the ones I have either, they don't "nest" well.

What a sweet baby card, Colleen. Love the added stars in matching colors and papers.

Working in the yard is exactly what we need to do this weekend but probably will go out of town for part of the weekend. We are so far behind in the yard because of rain.

Hope you find the dies. You may check Joan's Gardens. She carries so many dies from different companies.

I love baby cards! This is so cute with the stars. Star dies are on my wish list. I have the Spellbinders hearts and didn't notice they looked funny, but now that you mention it...

This is such a sweet card, my friend! I love that pair of stars. They balance your design perfectly! And the bottom edge is so fancy :) I hope you had a great weekend! Did the planting go well? Ours was cold and rainy. Lots of indoor activities! Sorry I haven't been able to visit much recently. I'm going to try to get all caught up now!
