A Garden of Thanks

Long-time lovers of Stampin' Up! may recognize this garden image from Best Borders.  That's a really old set, and I just recently sold it on eBay.  The borders don't fit on a size A2 card without having to trim off some of the image.  Bummer.  This stamp was my favorite in the set, and I found two of these already colored in my spare Stamped-Images box.  I had used SU markers and a blender pen, because it's all I had back then.  Have to admit I'm more fond of Copic markers now.

"Thanks" is from All Year Wishes I by Inspired By Stamping.  Because I am a pearl addict, I added some Liquid Pearls along the punched Garden Gate border.  ("Hello, I'm Colleen, and I have a pearl problem...")

Well, that's about it for today!  Thanks for your visit.  :-)

Hi Colleen. Admitting is a great first step! Lovely border stamp! And you sold it, why? It makes for a very different focal point on the card than usual.

So pretty Colleen! LOL on the pearl comment - I have so many addictions I wouldn't even know where to start (maybe paper but it would be hard to say). Love this garden strip, the pearls, the punched border - all of it is wonderful. Hugz!

You made this into a very fresh and cute card! I love the punched border, and I think it's okay that the image drops off the edges. Really nice coloring with those markers!
