Star of Wonder

Christmas is coming, and it's one of my favorite times of the year.  My 15 YO's, too.  We love everything about it:  decorating the house, baking wonderful things, crisp winter air, Christmas Eve church service by candlelight, celebrating with loved ones, and so much more.  My daughter told me that she would decorate our whole house by herself, that's how much she loves it.  I just might hold her to that...

This card is full of things that make my heart happy:  pretty embossing, vintage thread...

...damask paper, subtle touches of glitter, beautiful stars, a sheer bow tied off with a pearly button and sentiment from Hero Arts.  Oh, and a pearl.  I love m'pearls.  You know I do!

Have you sent out your holiday cards yet?

Love your stars and the wonderful embossing at the bottom....a perfect Christmas card.

Hubby and I are going to do some decorating today. Hope to finish it. Sounds as if you and your 15 yr. old are ready to go head first into Christmas. What fun!

In a word: GORGEOUS! No, I haven't sent out our cards yet--but we've decorated the house (tree went up last weekend) and today we did our Christmas baking: four different kinds of Christmas cookies. The kids counted: 244 cookies in all!

Just LOVE this lovely card!

Oh, so very elegant in these colors! Beautiful border embossing, too. I love to decorate the house for Christmas, but taking it down afterward is not so much fun, except by then I'm ready to reclaim the house. Happy holidays, Colleen!
