Framed Butterfly

Hello!  I'm back with another creation for Creative Worship Stamps, where I am guest designing for the month of April.  This card features a framed butterfly, surrounded by beautiful foliage, and sitting atop a hymn called "Wonderful Words of Life."

On a terracotta card base, I stenciled a background using brown ink and the Chicken Wire Stencil.  Then on a piece of kraft colored cardstock, I stamped the Wonderful Words of Life, trimmed it down, and inked the edges for a more aged appearance.  This was matted with some distressed-looking packaging I had in my stash.  On white cardstock, I stamped greenery from Beautiful Branches, and fussy cut them and colored with alcohol markers.  The butterfly from Vintage Nature Elements got the same treatment:  stamped, colored but I used a matching die for this.  I added glossy accents glue to the butterfly once he was adhered on dimensional foam stickers.  The leaves got a touch of shimmer with a special marker.

Supplies from Creative Worship Stamps:

Hebrews 11:3 NIV

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Thanks for taking a peek today!
May your day be blessed!
