The current challenge at SUO Challenges is "Welcome Baby", so I've created something pink and girly. I am NOT good at boy cards, as evidenced by the lack of them in my blog and SCS gallery.
I just received the designer paper the other day in a package of blog candy from Savannah O'Gwynn'. Isn't it great paper? Savannah is my new teammate at the Play Date Cafe. What a cheerful, talented and generous lady she is.
At EtsyInspired challenges, the current inspiration is LaPomme. I used this photo to guide me:
The lace tablecloth reminded me of some old paper doilies I have in the napkin drawer. I've seen others use doilies on their cards, and now I had my turn. It was fun! I see more in my future.
I made another version of this card with different designer paper from Stampin' Up!. It's an oldie, I think:
I kind of like the gray and pink scheme for a baby card. It is still feminine, but not at all baby-ish; a little more sophisticated.
Thanks for joining me today. I always appreciate your visits! And please come play with me and the rest of the new team at The Play Date Cafe, too. Can't wait to see what you make!
Happy Stamping,
Colleen
