Butterfly Trio

I'm hopping into the CASE Study challenge this week, a challenge I don't play in often enough.
The muse is Jennifer Rzasa.

Here is my take on that:

I stamped the butterflies on different pieces of cardstock, then trimmed.
The antennae are hard to trim without losing 'em,
so I hand-drew those on after attaching butterflies to card.
These beautiful butterflies are by Lost Coast Designs.

I punched the bottom of my card base with the Scallop Dot border punch by Martha Stewart, and added some twine - that's all there is to this clean and simple card!

Good news!  Yesterday I found out that I will have a card published in Paper Crafts Magazine - the July/August issue!  The card they picked (I submitted 7 things) is in the "Stamp It: Markers" category.  Apparently they picked only 6 cards for that category (and one is mine!), out of 167 submissions.   :o)

Thanks for joining me today!

Colleen

Stamps:  Butterflies - Lost Coast Designs
Paper:  cream card/envelope set; blue, orange and green cardstock samples from California Paper Goods (they used to include some in my orders)
Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black - Tsukineko
Punch:  Scallop Dot border - Martha Stewart
Other:  twine - Creative Impressions; foam dimensional stickers; black journaling pen - SU

Love your card! I like the varying shapes better than all the same just different colors. Plus, that punched border and twine really caught my eye. Well done, my friend!

Plus, another publication! Yeah! You will have to remind us (like you will, I am sure!) when it is closer to the time the issue comes out. Looking forward to seeing it!

P.S. Boy, I am going to have to send my issues to you to autograph!
