Howdy and welcome to Day Two of our August Release Sneak Peeks at Inspired By Stamping! This month, IBS is paying homage to the men in our life: husbands, fathers, sons, grandpas, uncles, cousins...they've covered 'em all!
The sets we're featuring today are Guitars and Background Basics Lines. These two are super flexible, and I will be reaching for these sets to make cards both masculine AND feminine. (pardon the lighting on some of these pics. I had to photograph the card on my bed one day :( and rely upon daylight)
Isn't this guitar FUN? There are two guitars in the set, along with some picks and these FABULOUS splatters. I added some glossy glue to parts of the guitar, as seen best below. The splashes are a new 'Colleen Favorite' for grunging and distressing a card. ;-)
The skinny stripes from BBL looked just like guitar frets to me, so I embossed them in gold. The sentiment is from Masculine Tags, a set that's being released this week, too.

Nice, simple design, I love it!
I love this! It's simple and just perfect for a guy -- especially a teen guy. Great job, Colleen!
A fun card and I think it is great that you got such a great picture taking it on your bed! If I took a picture on my bed, it would look so bad you can't believe it! You are so good at taking pictures!
This guitar could be used so many ways and I love that you did it with the lines that kind of mirror the strings in it - fab idea. Hugz!
