I thought I was pretty clever with the title of my post! The sketch for this layout today comes from Waltzingmouse Challenges, and I've used SU's set Tree Trimmings for the first time.
The colors were chosen by this week's Color Challenge over at Splitcoast: Always Artichoke, Pretty in Pink and Cherry Cobbler, with a dessert option of pinking shears. I don't have any of the new cardstock colors by SU yet, so I subbed in Riding Hood Red. At Caardvarks, we were challenged to create a Christmas mini card or tag. In my book, this is less than a normal sized card: it measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/2". I meant to cut it as a square, but I kind of liked the shape once I was finished. AND it will still fit in an A2 envelope; no extra postage required!

It may be several days before I can stamp again. My brother and sister-in-law are coming for a visit from Texas tomorrow, and I have lots to do in preparation.
You have a wonderful weekend!

The card is breathtaking!
This is such a stunning card! I love your placement of rhinestones and embossing and stamping...I could go on and on! Very lovely work! :)
Beautiful holiday card, I need to get mine going too (I always said that, but so many idea and so little time)! The vintage ornaments against the embossed DP look great!
Beautiful card!! I love the embossing on white. Thanks for joining us at Caardvarks!!
What a beautiful card, Colleen! I just love how that pink looks with the more traditional red/green Christmas colors. The ornaments look great as pendants, and the embossed white panel makes this card look so rich. Wonderful work!!
