Tuesday Trigger - Winter Blossoms

At Moxie Fab World, the Tuesday Trigger challenge photo is this:

Gorgeous paper flowers!  I decided to make my own paper flowers, too.

In fact, I made two versions of this card because I couldn't decide whether I liked the 3D version, or the flat (read:  more mail-friendly) version.

Some close-ups:

Which version do you like better?  I'm entering them both at Moxie Fab World.  I'll let Cath Edvalson decide if either one is worthy of being a Trigger!

Thanks for joining me!

Well, I like both of them and can't quite decide. Is it just my monitor - the 3D ones look more intense in color which is cool but then the flat ones look more muted in color which is also nifty! Either way, you have a winner on your hands! Love the pearls in the center and that script is really elegant!

Oh what pretty blossoms Colleen! While both are lovely, I like the flat verison best. The colors are softer on this one. PRETTY cards ;)

I'm all about the 3-D Colleen! That's just my style! i don't care if they cost more to mail because i always get that phone call saying how special the 3-D flowers are! LOVE your design! LOVE the text background and the HELLO!

Oh, both of these are FAB, Col!! I love them both--great idea to make a mailable version, too. I love it when cards can brighten someone's day without too much effort (of going to find a padded envelope or box plus extra postage!). I think you nailed the Trigger. :)

I love the 3D version because it's so elegant and the dimension really adds the WOW! But I like the flat version because it can be mailed. Decisons, decisions....

I have to say I like the 3-D version. But I have been making my cards with a little less volume when I can.. Just so I can mail.. They are both lovely...

Colleen, the 3-D blossoms are breathtaking! Both versions are lovely. The other would be easier for mailing, but that doesn't matter with works of art!

Amazing trigger take!

So pretty...I like the 3D but they're both great. I guess you could buy some of those boxes at Joan's Gardens for mailing cards with big flowers/embellies on them.

Of course, that could get expensive for the postage amount.

My favorite is the one with the flowers that have some dimension...just because that is the type of girl I am...lol These are so pretty.

Hey Colleen! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)

Although both are gorgeous, my eye was really drawn to the dimensionalized flower...I guess it's just the shading and 3-D effect that is really appealing! I love the neutral background and those gorgeous pops of pastel color! Fantastic!

Ooooo! I LOVE the 3-D version! Yummy! I'm all about dimension, though. None of my cards are very mail friendly :(. And your color palette is so serene!
