Amour

Here I go with a French theme again!

This card is currently featured in the January / February issue of Paper Crafts magazine, in the Quick and Easy Valentines section on page 65:

Right now there is a submissions call for Paper Crafts' Stamp It! issue.  I am busily working on several projects for that.  Sure does take a lot of time to come up with unique ideas, using only current products (I have LOTS of retired products!).  I have four things made so far, and hope to make more, as long as my brain comes up with good stuff.  ;)

Loving this CAS card (no pun intended). Those half pearls are the perfect accent.

Hi Colleen

Wow stunning card simply, elegant and striking - don't think you will have any trouble thinking up unique ideas as you always do.

Beauty can be found in "simple" things; this is a brilliant example. You need to frame this beauty; something as gorgeous as this deserves to be published. love it!

This is a beautifully CAS card and it's easy to see why it was chosen! Good luck on your other submissions. I have yet to try for this and besides time, it also comes down to research what is retired and not. Most of my papers I am sure are retired!

Maybe one day!

I love the simple beauty of this - and I love seeing someone's cards in a magazine that I "Know" :)

Speaking of Amour - I am in love with this! Love the colors - kraft and the touch of red really speaks my language! But, the piece of resistance' (however they spell it) is those three pearls! I gotta get this issue now and check out your card up close and personal. I, too like Linda, love seeing someone's cards in magazines that "I know!" Just like I need a reason to buy another magazine! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Great card Colleen - love the oval masking. I know what you mean about using the new stuff and you also have to keep up with what it is - can't just put all the buttons in a bowl - have to keep them together with the packaging! But it's totally worth it when you get accepted.

Congrats Colleen! It is so exciting your work has been published! Hope your new projects make it! Love this card! The red really makes it pop! I have looked at all your recent cards and they all are so beautiful as always! I have been out of town and then came home sick, so it has taking me a while to get in the swing of things and get caught up. So if I don't get to comment on all of them, they are all quite pretty!

Very sweet Colleen. Love the text and the cute heart. The little pearls are just darling.

I can certainly see why this card made the magazine! It's a lesson in CAS genius! Perfect placement of the heart (a lovely splash of red) and of the pearls, as well! Just gorgeous!
