A Rusty Seagull for Father's Day

Hi there!  Funny title for this post, eh?  I happened to have this bird already punched out from another project and decided to create a nautical card using him.  And so, he became a seagull.  First-ever of his kind, perhaps.

I intended to use only a couple of white clouds, but one mistake after another kept happening, and I needed a good cover-up.  One such blue cloud hovers too closely to the sentiment, but it was either that, or an ugly glue spot.

My dock could use a bit more work...it's rather crude.  Good thing I don't build docks with wood!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!

Heehee looks like the salt water corroded that bird, he's must have been perched on the dock for a long time!! This is cute Colleen and I love the waves!!

Well, now, I don't agree. I think this is a great card! And unless you had pointed out the cloud being close to the sentiment (and I don't think it is) then I would never have noticed; the clouds seem perfect to me. I think the dock looks great as well. As my cousin always says, "Don't go pickin' the fly sh*t out of the pepper."

Can you tell I am trying to catch up on getting around to my bloggy friends. Please forgive being tardy!
